The museum steps out of its palace

In partnership with the Comité d'Histoire Régionale (Grand Est region), the Palais des Ducs de Lorraine-Musée lorrain has been offering since 2015 a series of off-site events entitled "Le musée sort de son palais". For one day, a work of art is presented in an exceptional way in its area of origin, for the benefit of the people who live there. This operation is also aimed at associations that contribute to knowledge of the history and identities of Lorraine. In this way, a lecture prepared by a regional history association is combined with a presentation by a museum curator.
