The museum is partially closed. The Église des Cordeliers remains open.

Built from the late 15th century onwards, the Palais is an important symbol of the power of the Dukes of Lorraine. Its porter's house, the main entrance on the Grande Rue, is one of the earliest examples of Renaissance art in eastern France.
